State of Utah A New Workplace: Modernizing Where, How, and When Utah Works
A vast portion of work today is no longer bound to a specific location or schedule. In short, a majority of work can be conducted anywhere and anytime. With this in mind, the state tested a telework pilot and found it to be very successful. Due to the pilot's success, the state is implementing telework across all state agencies through an initiative entitled The New Workplace: Modernizing Where, How, and When Utah Works." FY20 Allocation for EV Charging at State Facilities
The program was allocated $2 million in one-time funding. Funds purchase Level 2 dual port chargers at state-owned facilities. A total of 123 Level 2, dual-port, chargers have been purchased. Installation of the chargers is currently underway. An estimated 11 tons of emissions will be saved annually and an estimated 106 tons of emissions will be saved over the lifetime of the project.

FY20 Allocation for State Teleworking
During the 2019 Legislative Session, $6,193,000 in one-time funding was awarded to state agencies to aid in the implementation of teleworking. An estimated 21.3 tons of emissions will be saved annually and an estimated 319 tons of emissions will be saved over the lifetime of the project.
FY22 Governor's Budget for Air Quality
Review what funds Governor Cox has proposed for air quality. The "Let’s Go Breathe: Air Quality Remains a Priority" section of the Governor's budget proposal can be found on page 71.
FY20 Allocation for Snow Plow Replacement
The legislature appropriated $2 million to UDOT for snow plow replacement and $2 million to the Division of Fleet Operations to aid in the replacement of pre-2007 vehicles. With the pre-2007 vehicles being slated for replacement in the 2020 cycle, Fleet made the decision to apply its $2 million to UDOT for additional snow plow replacement. An estimated 27 tons of emissions will be saved annually and an estimated 535 tons of emissions will be saved over the lifetime of the project.
State of Utah EV Master Plan, Second Edition
The State Agency Electric Vehicle (EV) Expansion Committee was assembled in order to create a unified, coordinated, and responsible EV infrastructure strategy for the advancement of EV charging across the Utah, thereby improving air quality through increased zero emission transportation. This five-year Master Plan acts as a guide for best practices in helping guide State Agencies and other interested parties in the implementation of EV technologies at their place of business and operation.
