State of Utah A New Workplace: Modernizing Where, How, and When Utah Works
A vast portion of work today is no longer bound to a specific location or schedule. In short, a majority of work can be conducted anywhere and anytime. With this in mind, the state tested a telework pilot and found it to be very successful. Due to the pilot's success, the state is implementing telework across all state agencies through an initiative entitled The New Workplace: Modernizing Where, How, and When Utah Works." FY22 Utah State Government Air Quality Best Practices Annual Report Released
Each fiscal year, the Coordinator of Resource Stewardship produces an annual report to the Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment Interim Committee highlighting best practices state agencies have implemented for the previous fiscal year to help improve Utah's air quality.

DFCM Awarded 2022 Green Business Award by Utah Business
The Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) was awarded the 2022 Utah Green Business Award by Utah Business magazine. DFCM's High Performance Building Standard (HPBS), the State Facility Energy Efficiency Fund (SFEEF), and the implementation of the Statewide Space Master Plan were highlighted.
Utah GovOps and Partners Awarded 2023 UCAIR Partner of the Year Award
The Utah Clean Air Partnership Awarded the Utah Department of Government Operations, and project partners, with the 2023 UCAIR Community Partner of the Year Award for the WeEV project to expand education for electric vehicle training for auto technicians.
State of Utah NEVI Plan APPROVED!
On September 14, 2022, the State of Utah was notified that the Joint Office approved of the Utah National Electric Vehicle Infrastrucutre (NEV)I Plan.
WeEV Team Wins Sustainable Collaboration Award
The Department of Government Operations, and its partners, are developing an Electric Vehicle (EV) technician program. The WeEV Team was recently recognized at the Weber State University 2023 Intermountain Sustainability Summit by being the recipient of its Sustainable Collaboration Award.
