Utah Division of Archives and Records Services is thrilled to share the 2026 Utah Archives Month theme: “Home in the Archives.” 
2026 marks the 250th anniversary of the United States, making it the perfect moment to reflect on what “home” really means and how those stories are preserved in archives. Home can be a house or a hometown, a person or a journey, and it often lives in photographs, letters, postcards, scrapbooks, and other collections. It can be something built, something left behind, or something carried forward, and October is your chance to show how your archives tell these stories.
